Abstract:

To reduce the time required for maintaining an entire image forming system and also reduce the downtime of the system.

This image forming system comprises an image forming device body 900 forming an image on a sheet and a sheet processing device 100 having a processing part processing the sheet fed from the image forming device body 900. A sheet is fed to the sheet processing device 100 while the image forming device body 100 is operated before the image forming operation thereof is started or the image forming operation is suspended. The sheet processing device performs the calibration operation of each processing part by using the sheets fed from the image forming device body 900.
