Abstract:
To prevent lowering of charging performance while improving the dispersibilities of a colorant and a charge control agent in a binder resin, with respect to an image forming toner used for developing an electrostatic latent image.
By addition of a polyglycerol compound, a water-repellent binder resin can show an effect to disperse a colorant and a charge control agent, and uniform dispersion is achieved by a single kneading. Since an esterification degree of the polyglycerol compound is ≥50% and a polycondensation degree n of the polyglycerol is 9-30, even when the polyglycerol compound is added, lowering of charging performance and filming can be prevented.
