Abstract:
To prevent a developer from leaking from an image forming unit.
A sponge roller 37 provided in the image forming unit of a printer, for example, supplies developer 35a to a developing roller. An annular projecting part 41a is formed at a portion of a seal sponge 40 in contact with the end of the sponge roller 37. Therefore, a gap between the end of the sponge roller 37 and the seal sponge 40 is eliminated, thereby preventing the developer 35a from being leaked to the outside. Thus, image irregularity on paper occurring because the developer 35a is leaked to a mechanism part of the image forming unit and trouble that the leaked developer 35a drops onto the paper are prevented.
