Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation device generating a desired image by using a camera installed at or near an antenna of a radar, that complements detection of a target by the radar and compensates for the limitation of visual observation without involving significant structural complication and increase in cost or significantly reduces the significant structural complication and cost.SOLUTION: The image generation device includes: image acquiring means capturing an image taken by a camera installed to an antenna of a radar; and image generating means conducting, on the image, all or part of processing of sampling, storage, extraction, overlapping, and synthesis in synchronization with rotation of the antenna or the action of the radar and generating an image corresponding to an indication image generated by the radar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
