Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for allowing a driver to easily recognize an object by properly associating a position of an enhanced image with a position of the object in a forward view of the driver.SOLUTION: In a vehicle display device 100 that displays a display image 90 on a forward view of a driver 19, an image generation device 70 acquires position 13p information on an object 13 to be presented to the driver 19 and information on a view point position 19p of the driver 19. In the image generation device 70, a line of sight 19v from the view point position 19p toward the position 13p of the object 13 and a point-of-interest position 93p crossing the display image 90 are calculated as formation information. On the basis of the formation information, image data on an enhanced image 93 for enhancing the object 13 according to the point-of-interest position 93p is generated. The enhanced image 93 is a pair of brackets enclosing the object 13 and a margin 94 around it, and is apparently superimposed on the object 13 in the forward view from the driver's view point.
