A camera control system 1 includes a cellular phone 10 for generating images of the peripheral scenery of the cellular phone itself and a setting server 20, including a storage means for storing area information (geometrical information, weather information) indicating an environment in a predetermined area. The camera control system 1, further, includes: a position acquiring section 11 for acquiring positional information indicating a position of the cellular phone 10; an environment determining section 22 for retrieving the area information, corresponding to the positional information acquired for determining the environment in the area surrounding the cellular phone 10; a photographic condition deciding section 23 that decides the condition for photographing for the cellular phone 10, on the basis of the result of the determination; and a photographic section 19 for photographing the peripheral scenery of the cellular phone 10, on the basis of the decided condition.
