Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which suppresses the inconsistency of density characteristics in all boundary parts in a composite image in which a plurality of images are continuously arranged like a ring.SOLUTION: A first LUT for correction to approximate density characteristics of an object part image to density characteristics of a first adjacent part image and a second LUT for correction to approximate the density characteristics of the object part image to density characteristics of a second adjacent part image are generated (S105 to S106). The density of at least one object part image is converted by using both of the first LUT and the second LUT (S111). Concretely, the density of the object part image is converted so that pixels of which the positions in the object part image are nearer to the first adjacent part image are more influenced by the first LUT than by the second LUT.
