Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and effort for acquiring an area where masking is applied while performing the masking of an indefinite area in an image displayed in a display part.SOLUTION: An imaging part is installed in a vehicle so as to photograph an image through a wide angle lens and photograph an area around the vehicle. An image processing part executes distortion correction for correcting distortion of a photographic image photographed by the imaging part to generate an object image. Further, the image processing part sets a rectangular area which has a straight line circumscribing at least one indefinite area and is a mask area covering an edge part of an object image with the indefinite area existing (S250) in the case that there is at least the one indefinite area in which an image is not formed in the object image based on image height data and posture data (S240: NO). An image subjected to the execution of masking for filling in the mask area with regulated color is generated as an object image, and is displayed in a display area of a display part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
