Abstract:
To provide an image glossiness adjusting device excellent in durability though device constitution is made compact and capable of adjusting the glossiness of an image.
This glossiness adjusting device is provided with a glossiness imparting member 2 whose surface 20a contacting with the image at least can move in a sheet type member carrying direction (a) in a state where the member 2 comes into contact with the image 12 formed on a sheet type member 4, and a counter carrying member 3 driven and rotated in a state where the sheet type member is made to abut on or pressed to the member 2. The moving speed V1 of the surface 20a of the member 2 is made higher than the moving speed V2 of the surface 3a of the member 3.
