The image forming apparatuses 1 are sequentially selected according to a time schedule, the selected image forming apparatus is requested for n pieces of attribute information, the n pieces of attribute information are received from the image forming apparatus 1, and if there is uncollected new attribute information in the n pieces of attribute information, image data corresponding to the new attribute information is requested of the image forming apparatus 1, and the image data is received from the image forming apparatus 1 and stored in a nonvolatile memory 23. Therefore, the image forming apparatus 1 does not have to access a computer 2 for image history storage, and the address of the computer 2 for image history storage does not have to be registered in the image forming apparatus 1.
