Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably obtain excellent picture images without influences of repeated use or environmental conditions by incorporating the reaction product of an acetal resin and an org. metal complex compd. into an intermediate layer.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive supporting body 1, is provided with an intermediate layer 2, charge producing layer 3, and charge transfer layer 4. The intermediate layer 2 contains the reaction product of an acetal resin and an org. metal complex compd. This reaction product is obtd. by mixing an acetal resin and an org. metal complex compd. in a proper solvent and heating. This reaction product is produced by the reaction of the hydroxyl group in the acetal resin with the center metal, e.g. aluminum, of the org. metal complex compd. or with a reactive group coupling or coordinating with the center metal.
