Abstract:
To provide an image input device constituted so that a belt film can be housed in a film housing part without using a take-up member after reading an image.
After the belt film 2a housed in a taken-up state in a cartridge is fed to a read part and the image of the film 2a is read, the film 2a is made to advance to the film housing part 27a. Then, the film 2a made to advance to the film housing part 27a in such a way is housed in a state where it is wound round in the film housing part owing to the curling of the film 2a.
