Abstract:
To solve a problem of a possible discrepancy in contents between file management information written in a recording medium and actually written data as a result of removal of the recording medium from equipment or decrease in power supply voltage during data writing in the recording medium.
When a removable state of the recording medium is detected (S202) in such cases as a cover provided in a slot for mounting the recording medium is opened, write processing during execution at the moment is aborted (S203). When the processing is aborted, the file management information is written as data to write is complete with the data written so far at the moment of abortion, and thereby is kept consistent with the data actually written.
