An image processing unit 3 is connected to a monitor 98, a key board 91, a conversion information storage medium reader 92, and a densitometer 7 and connected to a film recorder 5 by an output image information transmission line 59. Then based on conversion information stored in a conversion information storage medium read by the output image information transmission line 59, while the image subject to image processing is displayed on the monitor 98, exposure image information obtained through synthesis processing according to the operation of the key board 91 is fed to the film recorder 5. The film recorder 5 converts the exposure image information into output image information and exposes image onto an image pickup use silver halide color negative photo film, based on the obtained output image information.
