To provide an image output system capable of surely transferring information for generating an image of desirable colors to post-process, and to provide an information display device.
The image output system comprises: an image acquiring part for acquiring original image data representing an original image; an information storing part for storing a set of the original image data and a color reproduction area of an image output device; an image outputting part for outputting an identification image representing identification information for identifying the set in a readable way and a reproduced image of the original image; an identification information acquiring part for acquiring the identification information obtained by reading the identification image; a set acquiring part for acquiring the set to be identified by the identification information; and a display part for displaying the degree of reproduction of a reproduced image to the original image on the basis of the acquired set.
