The X-ray image photography system is provided with an X-ray generator 103, a detection part 102, a correction part 108 for performing correction processing to data outputted from the detection part 102, and an output part 115 such as a monitor for outputting data processed by the correction part 108. In addition, the X-ray image photography system is provided with: a control part 101 for controlling the detection part 102, the X-ray generator 103 and the correction part 108; a photographic condition memory 107 which the control part 101 can access; a photographic button 105 for requesting photography to the control part 101; a photographic mode setting part 106 for setting the photographic mode to the control part 101; and a photographic timer 104 having an AE function.
