To provide an image pickup apparatus which is capable of simultaneously photographing objects at different positions with photographing optical systems having different field angles, and is advantageous to improve the latitude of photographing.
The image pickup apparatus 100 is provided with a first case 10, a display panel 30 connected to the first case 10, and a second case 20 connected to the display panel 30. A first optical photographing system 12 is disposed on the first case 10. The system 12 is constituted as a zooming system capable of continuously changing a field angle ranging from a wide angle to a telescope. The second case 20 is provided on a top surface 3006 away from the first case 10 in a state that the display panel 30 is opened at a usage position via a pan and tilt mechanism 40. A second photographing optical system 22 is disposed on the front of the second case 20.
