Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device diagnostic system where a user using a device such as an image pickup device can recognize a defect of the device without the need for visiting a service center or the like so as to take a proper action.
SOLUTION: In the image pickup device diagnostic system where the image pickup device diagnostic side terminal 101 diagnosing the image pickup device 301 and an image pickup device diagnosis request side terminal 102 requesting the diagnosis of the image pickup device are interconnected through network 100, the image pickup device diagnostic side terminal 101 is provided with a reception means that receives information with respect to the image pickup device 301 from the image pickup device diagnosis request side terminal 102 to which the image pickup device 301 is connected and with a recording medium 302 that records a diagnostic program to diagnose the image pickup device 301 and the image pickup device diagnostic side terminal 101 diagnoses the image pickup device 301 by using the diagnostic program.
