Abstract:
To execute defective pixel correction whereby no correction error due to difference from storage times takes place and to carry out the defective pixel correction within a necessity minimum range.
In executing defective pixel correction on the basis of information of defective pixels of an imaging element 14 stored in a correction data storage medium, a correction range varies with the storage time of the imaging element 14 to carry out the defective pixel correction in matching with a shutter speed and the storage time thereby executing the defective pixel correction within a necessity minimum range and carrying out the correction wherein no flaw correction error due to long time storage is caused.
