Abstract:
To reset a file number by automatic or simple operation in an arbitrary timing by a user or when the file number becomes maximum.
This image pickup device has an image pickup means for imaging an object to generate image data, and a filing system means for retaining image data generated by the image pickup means in a recording medium, and deciding a new file name from a folder and file configuration in the recording medium. The image pickup device is provided with a file number reset means for resetting the file number, whereby the full-state of the file number can be avoided before photographing.
