Abstract:

To provide an image pickup device and a panorama image display method that can photograph a panorama video image and allow a user to observe a panorama image on a display device with a wide screen and photograph while confirming a three-dimensional effect, and to provide a storage medium.

A compound eye camera is provided with: imaging optical systems 2, 3 placed at both sides of a compound eye camera main body 1; a display device 4 with a wide screen placed to the compound eye camera main body 1; a signal processing circuit 27 for controlling so as to compose the images photographed by the imaging optical systems 2, 3 to produce a panorama image; and an LCD control circuit 29 that displays the panorama image on the wide screen of the display device 4.
