PURPOSE: To actuate a shake correcting mechanism so that the operation of a film loading motor and a lens driving motor is not hindered by inhibiting the operation of a correcting device at the time of driving the film loading motor.

CONSTITUTION: In the case a specified mode is set, a shake amount detecting means 1 is started by turning on an SW1, and shake correcting operation is performed based on the detected result by the means 1 by turning on an SW2. When a film driving signal (outputted at the time of winding and rewinding the film) is outputted, the state of a vibration-proof(shake correction) driving signal is confirmed before driving the film, and the film is driven in the case the vibration-proof (shake correction) driving signal is off, and the film is driven by temporarily stopping vibration-proof(shake correction) driving in the case the vibration-proof(shake correction) driving signal is on. The vibration-proof(shake correction) driving signal is not received in the midst of driving the film. When driving the film is finished, the state of the vibration-proof(shake correction) driving signal is confirmed again, and the vibration- proof(shake correction) driving is started when the vibration-proof(shake correction) driving signal is on.
