To provide an image pickup device for screen that is not influenced by regular reflection, makes an image on an image pickup object screen identi cal to an image formed on the image pickup surface and can obtain an image focused on the whole image pickup surface.

A position and an angle of a pickup image object screen 1, a lens 2 and a pickup image surface 3 are decided so that an axis A vertical to an image pickup object screen 1, an optical axis B of a camera lens 2 and an axis C vertical to the image pickup surface 3 are all parallel to one another, a straight line (a) for linking a center of the image pickup object screen 1 and a node K on the object side of the lens 2 and a straight line (a') for linking a node K' on the image side of the lens 2 and the image pickup surface 3 are parallel and an angle θ made by these straight lines (a) and (a') and the optical axis B of the lens 2 becomes a specified angle θ for satisfying a relation of 0°<θ<90°.
