To improve picture quality of a static image in simultaneous recording of a dynamic image and the static image and to record dynamic images simultaneously with little sense of inconsistency in front and back fields.
The device is provided with: a solid-state imaging device with an electronic shutter function; an electronic shutter control means; an AGC means for adjusting gains of an output signal of the solid-state imaging device; an AGC gain control means for performing gain control of the AGC means; a noise reduction means; a means for controlling noise elimination level setting of the noise reduction means; and a first recording means for recording a dynamic image and a second recording means for recording a static image. When fetching an image whose dynamic image and static image are recorded simultaneously, an electronic shutter of the solid-state imaging device is set at higher speed than usual, and the AGC gain control and noise elimination level setting control of noise reduction are performed in accordance with setting of the electronic shutter.
