Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display means for a portable game device improved in visibility (such as gradation, color reproduction or a picture size) by having a mode for executing a previously stored game program when using the display means. SOLUTION: A function selection switch 10 is set at the position of C(CAMERA). A CCD 102 performs image fetching (image pickup) by pressing a release button and records image information in an image memory 105 as electric image signals. Besides, the function selection switch 10 is set at the position of G(GAME). A game program is read out of a ROM for game built in a game cartridge 11 and a CPU 101 executes the program. When executing a game, the operation is performed by an operation key and operation buttons 9a-9d and image display is performed through a VRAM 106 by an LCD 12. The executed result or process of the game is stored in a RAM 107 for the game.
