Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional image pickup element, in which it is impossible to read out charge information concurrently from a pair of photoelectric conversion element which are arranged corresponding to one microlens.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, an image pickup element comprises: a first photoelectric conversion element PD0L and a second photoelectric conversion element PD0R which are arranged corresponding to one microlens; a first transfer transistor TX0L arranged corresponding to the first photoelectric conversion element PD0L; a second transfer transistor TX0R arranged corresponding to the second photoelectric conversion element PD0R; read-out timing signal wiring TG1 for supplying a common read-out timing signal to the first transfer transistor TX0L and the second transfer transistor TX0R; first output wiring OUT_A0 for outputting a signal of the first photoelectric conversion element PD0L to the outside; and second output wiring OUT_B0 for outputting a signal of the second photoelectric conversion element PD0R to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
