A digital camera 100 includes a vibration sensor 114 and is configured to detect a vibrating operation due to a user, along XYZ coordinate axes and a vibrating operation (tilting operation) around the XYZ coordinate axes. The digital camera is then configured to switch, on the basis of a result detecting the vibrating operation due to the user, from fixed display, during which an image is displayed without being switched, to slide show display, to change a display magnification during the fixed display, or to change an image scrolling direction during the slide show display or display switching time intervals during the slide show display.
