Abstract:
PURPOSE:To correct errors, by processing so as to determine that image data is being received until a specific code is received successively by (m) times, neglecting an excess of the data and printing said specific code as dummy data in short of the data. CONSTITUTION:In a basic program of a host computer for a printer equipped with an error correction command 'EEE', a sub-routine 'TENSO' represents one for transferring (l) lines of data, one line of 640 bytes. An error correction command seen in line numbers 12, 15 and 18 determines that the image data is finished when the printer receives 'E' not less than three times consecutively. And, the data thereafter is received as a command and so processed. In addition, even when 'E' is received consecutively not less than three times, the 'E's after the third 'E' are arranged to be neglected. In the case in short of the image data, the first 'E's are printed as the image data. The host computer sends the error correction commands 'E' by the sufficient number of times including 3 necessary for error correction and the number of the insufficient data.
