Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which can accurately identify the distribution of a contrast agent: and to provide a contrast composition.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: an acquisition part for acquiring a first X-ray CT image in first energy, a second X-ray CT image in second energy larger than the first energy, a third X-ray CT image in third energy larger than the second energy, and a fourth X-ray CT image in fourth energy larger than the third energy; a detection part for detecting a first difference image between the first X-ray CT image and the second X-ray CT image, and a second difference image between the third X-ray CT image and the fourth X-ray CT image; and an extraction part for forming a duplicate image by superimposing the first difference image and the second difference image. The contrast composition includes: a contrast composition having a K-absorption edge between at least the first energy and the second energy, and a contrast composition having a K-absorption edge between the third energy and the fourth energy.
