Abstract:

To provide an image processing apparatus, image display apparatus and image processing method, capable of preventing image quality from getting worse caused by a display-positional shift of a subpixel constituting one pixel.

The image processing apparatus for correcting an image signal for determining a modulation amount of a transmission light transmitted through a lens of the image display apparatus having a lens shift function includes a lens shift amount acquiring part for acquiring a shift amount of the lens, and an image signal correcting part for correcting the image signal corresponding to the subpixel constituting one pixel, in response to the shift amount acquired by the lens shift amount acquiring part.
