Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus advantageous to imaging a trajectory of diurnal motion of a celestial object depending on a predetermined exposure time.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: image acquisition means (224) for acquiring a captured image from imaging means (210, 221); prediction means (272) for predicting a celestial coordinate of a celestial body included in the captured image; storage means (245) for storing information on the celestial coordinate; specifying means (273) for comparing the stored celestial coordinate information with the predicted celestial coordinate, to specify the celestial coordinate of the celestial body included in the captured image; exposure time setting means (206) for setting exposure time in simulation; generation means (274) which calculates a trajectory of a celestial body specified based on the exposure time, to generate a trajectory image of the celestial body included in the captured image based on the trajectory; and synthesis means (274) which synthesizes the trajectory image generated by the generation means with the captured image.
