Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably correct positional deviation between two images acquired consecutively.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: an image receiver for receiving a first image and a second image: a positional deviation amount calculator for calculating the amount of positional deviation between the first image and the second image; a first information acquisition unit for acquiring feature amount information indicating the feature amount of the first image; a second information acquisition unit for acquiring difference information indicating the difference between the first image and the second image and the difference between the first image and the second image which has undergone positional deviation correction using the amount of positional deviation; and a correction amount setting unit for obtaining a correction amount to be used for the positional deviation correction on the second image, on the basis of the amount of positional deviation, the feature amount information, and the difference information.
