An image processing apparatus includes: a time acquisition section (S101) for acquiring a time; a processing section (S112) for performing the related processing concerning the image processing job by using the time acquired with the time acquisition section; a transmission section (S107) for transmitting the image processing job to an external device when the time acquisition section (S101) fails to acquire a time (NO in S102); and a receiving section (S109) for receiving the image processing job capable of acquiring the time information from the external device. The processing section (S112) acquires the time information from the image processing job received by the receiving section (S109) when the time acquisition section (S101) fails to acquire a time (NO in S102), and then performs the related processing by using the time (S110) that is based on the acquired time information.
