Abstract:
To realize a technology that can reduce recording RAW data capacity while maintaining performance of playback image vibration-proof as much as possible.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: compression means for compressing image data of an image captured through an optical system; and compression rate changing means for changing a compression rate of the compression means. The compression rate changing means sets a compression rate of at least a part of an image correction area in a periphery of an imaging area to be equal to or higher than a compression rate of a video area in the center of the imaging area. Further, the compression rate changing means changes the compression rate of at least a part of the image correction area according to at least one of a motion amount and a focus degree of the image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
