Abstract:
To output gray having improved distinctiveness for data described in a page description language capable of using a plurality of color spaces.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes an image processing unit 103 including acquisition means for acquiring data described in a PDL (page description language) and expressed in a plurality of color spaces, first conversion means for converting a color value specified to draw a page in the data into a color value to be defined in a common color space as a predetermined one color space, and second conversion means for converting color information converted by the first conversion means into a gray value such that distinctiveness is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
