Abstract:
To appropriately correct an error between areas occurring due to an imaging sensor.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus for correcting image data picked up by an imaging sensor that can perform exposure settings for every area, has: derivation means that derives an evaluation value evaluating a level difference of gradation occurring on a boundary between the areas; determination means that determines, for each boundary between the areas, whether the boundary is subjected to correction in an error in the exposure settings; changing means that changes the derived evaluation value according to the determined determination result; decision means that estimates the error in the exposure settings based on the derived evaluation value or the changed evaluation value, and decides a correction value for correcting the estimated error in the exposure settings; and update means that updates an adjustment value for adjusting the image data by using the generated correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
