Abstract:
To enable a user to view images without feeling discomfort when viewing a plurality of stereoscopic images.
A television receiver 100 relating to one embodiment of this invention comprises: a Z value extraction part 114 which receives input of image data constituting a plurality of stereoscopic images and extracts a Z value indicating the position of each stereoscopic image in the depth direction; and a Z value correction part 116 which corrects the extracted Z value so as to unify the stereoscopic appearances of the stereoscopic images. Correction of the Z values of the stereoscopic images by this constitution enables unification of the stereoscopic appearances of the stereoscopic images.
