Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that can ensure a band for main storage access without decreasing the accuracy in detecting the chromatic aberration of magnification.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: information extraction means that extracts information on the chromatic aberration of magnification on the basis of an optical parameter during photographing; image height calculation means that calculates an image height position for each of detection areas of a photographed image; area calculation means that calculates an area for searching for the chromatic aberration of magnification on the basis of the information on the chromatic aberration of magnification and the image height position for each of detection areas; detection means that performs detection of a correction value of the chromatic aberration of magnification in the searching area; and correction means that performs correction of the chromatic aberration of magnification on the basis of a correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
