An image processing unit 20 is configured to, in order to produce the booklet by bonding the printed text paper sheets to the cover sheet with the adhesive, generate print data used for printing by a printing apparatus 2 which performs printing by applying ink to the text paper sheets. The image processing unit 20 includes: an image processing unit 21 configured to, with reference to the image data to be printed on the text paper sheets, perform image processing for adjusting an amount of ink to be applied to an adhesive infiltration area into which the bonding agent supposedly infiltrates, on the text paper sheets during the printing operation; and a print data generating unit 22 configured to generate the print data whose type corresponds to the printing apparatus, on the basis of the image data to which the image processing has been applied by the image processing unit 21.
