Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reporting that a user identification is performed, to an identified user when the user identification is performed.
SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with a user information storage part 170 for relatively storing an IP address of a computer that is connected via a network, and a user ID of a user who uses the computer, and a network I/F part 160 for accepting inputs of the user ID and a password for performing the user identification from the computer connected via the network. Further, the image processing apparatus is equipped with a notification part 107 for transmitting notice information indicating that the user identification is performed, to the computer that is used by the user, while using the user ID with the IP address of the computer, as a destination, stored in the user information storage part 170 in relation to the user ID when the user ID is accepted for performing the user identification.
