Abstract:
To provide an image processing circuit capable of improving the image quality and visibility for an optional region included in an input image.
The image processing circuit comprises: a correction effective region setting means for setting the correction effective region of the input image; a luminance conversion coefficient calculation means for dividing only the correction effective region of the input image into a plurality of areas and then calculating a luminance conversion coefficient for each area; and a luminance conversion processing section for performing luminance conversion processing corresponding to the luminance conversion coefficient for each area on pixels configuring each area.
