To efficiently perform image data handling processing.SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises means for: acquiring image data; detecting character strings by performing character string recognition processing on the acquired image data, and creating a folder path indicating a storage destination of the acquired image data containing one or more detected character strings; and determining whether or not each character string constituting the created folder path is a character string indicating a specific folder name, determining whether or not a confidence level of the result of the character recognition processing for the character strings determined not indicating the specific folder name is a threshold or lower, and if at least one character string determined to be the threshold or lower is present, making the created folder path to be a confirmation object by a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
