Abstract:
To more accurately measure the distance to a subject.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires data of a standard image created by performing imaging at a standard position and data of a reference image created by performing imaging at a position different from the standard position; and a control unit. The control unit projects the reference image on a first virtual plane and converts the reference image to acquire a first virtual image, and projects the reference image on a second virtual plane and converts the reference image to acquire a second virtual image. The control unit calculates the distance from the standard position to a subject based on a result of comparison of the position of the subject in the standard image with the position of the subject in the first virtual image or the second virtual image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
