Abstract:
To reduce an increase in a processing load when enlarging an input image with high quality using a data-dependent triangulation method.SOLUTION: A rectangular region 22 is selected in which each pixel is formed by a plurality of intermediate pixels 21 having angle information of an edge 13. An intermediate pixel through which a diagonal line 23 of the rectangular region passes is set as a determination subject pixel 24. When an edge angle indicated by all the determination subject pixels is within a predetermined angle range with respect to the angle of the diagonal line, the diagonal line is extracted as a separation edge forming a side of a triangle separating a region of an input image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
