Abstract:
To provide an image processing apparatus that can use a fisheye image in machine learning with high recognition accuracy while considering distortion in the image.SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus 1, a processing unit 2 comprises: an acquisition unit 21 that acquires a fisheye image photographed with photographing means including a fisheye lens; a center image extraction unit 22 that extracts, from the fisheye image, a center image including the center of an optical axis; an outer peripheral side image extraction unit 23 that extracts, from the fisheye image, an outer peripheral side image present on an outer peripheral side of a predetermined area including the center of the optical axis; a conversion unit 25 that converts the outer peripheral side image into a rectangular plane image; a first inference unit 27 that infers an object captured in the plane image based on the plane image and a first inference model that is learned through machine learning related to the plane image; and a second inference unit 28 that infers an object captured in the center image based on the center image and a second inference model that is learned through machine learning related to the center image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
