Abstract:
To provide a technique for enabling the reduction of a data size of an imaging image, while suppressing an influence for a subject detection accuracy.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: setting means of setting a detection processing of a subject to an imaging image; detection means of executing the set detection processing from the imaging image; gradation number control means of determining a gradation number of the imaging image after the reduction of the gradation number in accordance with a type of the set detection processing and a detection result of the detection processing, and converting the imaging image into the determined gradation number; and output means of outputting the imaging image obtained by converting the gradation number and the detection result when the detection processing is executed by the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
