PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of accurately performing de-squeeze processing, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: setting means for setting first information to be used for performing restoration processing for cancelling distortion to image data that are acquired by using a lens which distorts a subject image, and setting whether to perform the restoration processing while using second information included in the image data more preferentially than the first information; and processing means for performing the restoration processing while using the first information in a case where it is not set by the setting means that the second information is to be used more preferentially than the first information, and performing the restoration processing while using the second information in a case where it is set by the setting means that the second information is to be used more preferentially than the first information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
