Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of a flicker during HDR imaging.SOLUTION: A flicker detection part detects whether or not a flicker component caused by the flicker of a light source is included in each of a short-time exposure image signal obtained from a pixel for performing short-time exposure and a long-time exposure image signal obtained from the pixel for performing long-time exposure and acquires the amplitude and period of the flicker component from an image signal including the flicker component. A synthesis processing part changes a blend rate when synthesizing the short-time exposure image signal and the long-time exposure image signal, according to the amplitude of the flicker component and synthesizes the short-time exposure image signal and the long-time exposure image signal, according to the blend rate, to generate an HDR image. Further, an imaging control part performs control for changing the exposure time of the image signal including the flicker component, according to the period of the flicker component. This technique can be applied to an imaging apparatus capable of capturing the HDR image, for instance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
