Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, an image formation device and a program, capable of supporting a plurality types of page description languages (PDL) at a less amount of work memory.SOLUTION: An image processing device of a present embodiment includes PDL type determination means which determines PDL type of a print job, and PDL processing means which, using a process module, interprets a drawing instruction described in the PDL that is contained in the print job, for executing a process of generating page data. The PDL processing means, uses at least one effective process module corresponding to the determined PDL type of the print job from among a plurality of process modules corresponding respectively to a plurality of PDL types, to execute a PDL process of the print job.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
