PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program capable of suppressing the deformation of a specific subject as much as possible after development of a fish-eye image into a rectangular image.SOLUTION: In an image processing device (for example, digital camera), a specific subject (for example, the face of a person) included in a fish-eye image identified, an image region of at least a part of the fish-eye image is determined, and the image area of at least a part of the fish-eye image is expanded and developed into a rectangular image based on the position (for example, a center position B of the face) of the specific subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
